    Description

For sale is a letter sent and signed by O.H. "Hank" Roberts Jr., a former mayor of Evansville, Indiana. Roberts served as the city's mayor from 1952 to 1956. However, this typed letter dates to 1944, when Roberts was working as an attorney. The letter was mailed to an Army sergeant, Ora F. Koring, advising him that Roberts had been appointed by the Vanderburgh Circuit Court to represent him in a divorce suit filed by Koring's wife. The letter is in good condition, with creases and mailing folds. It comes with its original envelope, which also is in good condition. See my listings for other vintage items.
