19th C. ORIGINAL ID'd SIOUX CUSTER 'S LAST STAND NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PHOTO

Up for auction is a rare original cabinet card photograph of BIG STAR ... the Brule Sioux Indian warrior who was in "General George Custer's massacre" (The Battle of Little Bighorn).
Handwritten on the back of the photo, in period ink, it states:
Big Star.  An old Brule Sioux Indian.  Was in the Custer Massacre
The cabinet card photo dates to the late 1800's  - to turn of the century and
measures approximately 8" x 10"
(the actual image measures approximately 6.75" x 4.75".
*Please note*... the blue strip (NotesFromAGhost) is not part of the photo.
Just used to prevent copying.
When viewing the pictures of the auction item, please take note of the *actual measurements* of the item in description.
In some cases, photos are enlarged to show detail.
Condition as pictured.  The sepia photo has faded some over the years.  The left corner of the cabinet card broke off and the other corners and sides show wear as well.
