Antique English 19th Century Submarine Shaped Infant Nurser Feeder Bottle
This beautiful 19th century earthenware baby bottle is covered with a fine blue and white checkered transfer pattern with a small white cross within each blue square. The fill hole, spout (where a soft nipple would be attached for nursing) and body are without chips or cracks, excepting a 1 millimeter superficial chip on the underside of the body and a small worn spot on the underside by the base of the spout. Excellent condition for age; rare find.  Measures 6 3/8 x 3 1/8 x 1 1/2 inches.
