    Description

    English Pattern 1876 Martini Metford, 22" blade with a 3" socket and inside diameter socket of .660".  Ricasso area of blade has markings with what looks like a January 1901 date.  Bayonet is excellent with tiny scattered darker age patina spots. Socket and neck still retain near 100% bluing. Scabbard is also excellent with black drab leather and brass throat and locket and correct cartouche markings on throat.   A beautiful piece.
