    Description

    Great condition modern era British Pattern 1897 infantry officer sword in the original service (field) leather scabbard. The right side of the blade is etched with WINDLASS maker mark. The 32" blade is bright and clear with beatiful foliate etchings featuring the ElIR royal cypher on both sides. Steel hilt has bright silver finish. The hilt features the queen Elizabeth II cypher on the guard. Fish skin covered grip has not damage, the wire wrap is tight. Fitted in the correct original leather scabbard. The leather is soft and pliable. Great condition overall.
