    This auction is for a 1955 letter from the Pioneering African American publisher, attorney, civic leader and civil-rights advocate Thomas L. Berkley of Beneficial Savings & Loan Association. He was an All-American track athlete at the University of California at Los Angeles and was the only black in his class at Boalt Hall School of Law at UC Berkeley. He was founder and publisher of the Post Newspaper Group. In great condition. Sold as is.
