ORIGINAL WWII FLYING TIGERS AVG FANTASTIC LETTER HOME FROM DOUBLE ACE FEB 1942

Bought from veterans estate.   Historic letter from AVG double ace to the folks back home.  Superior content as this was the first letter he could write since the war broke out.   It was sent home during a ferrying trip to Africa with a USMC officer acting as a courier and avoided the censors allowing unusual specific content.  6 hand written pages (3 back and front), approx 8 1/2" x 11" each.   From Chuck O lder, signed Chuck.  Clear legible handwriting,
an intelligent overview of his experience in the AVG including combat / Chennault / aircraft etc.    4 pages are pictured in the listing.   Arguably the best wartime AVG letter extant.
