Promotional Display SS Nassau Cruise Ship Original Light Up Metal W/ Wood Base

Up for sale is an original metal promotional display for the S.S. Nassau Cruise Ship from the 1950's.  This promotional display probably would have been used in cruise booking offices to promote cruises on this ship.  The painted metal ship comes in three sections layered to give a 3-D effect.  The metal pieces are mounted on a painted wood base.  The ship measures approximately 25 1/4" long and 6 1/2" high to the top of the smoke stack.  There is some minimal paint flaking to the painted ship.  There is also some paint wear to the base.  The ship displays well.  The back of the ship has two lights to light it up from the back for added effect.  The wires are old and fragile and the lights have not been tested.  The display could be rewired for safety.  This impressive display is not easy to find and looks great with other nautical collectibles or advertising memorabilia.  Any questions please ask.
