It is as shown and may have has a bottom mounting piece at one time - not included. See pics for details. This was salvaged years ago off a Standard Gas/Oil Porcelain Sign & Post, it was the cap or some call it a final. The scrapper used the post & converted it to a Flag Pole. Excellent old piece of history/collectible and great for Architectual decoration. Use in Formal Garden on or off a post, on a landing railing at end, yard ornament, display with other Gas/Oil Collection, etc. It is in nice shape ,especially for it's age. Freestanding as you see it, it is just under 12" tall and across widest area about 5 1/8" diameter. You may want to wire brush the inside threads & maybe clean up wit
