Description

Four Restored GM 1968 - 1975 Corvette Trim Rings
This is a set of four original GM factory production stainless steel trim rings.  They have a clip ring of two layers of metal, with each clip press fit between the layers and tac (spot) welded. One clip is located at the valve stem opening, and the others are spaced at 90 degree intervals.
These rings have been professionally restored to high quality show, concourse condition.  They have no dents, dings or scratches, and have been polished to a very shiny, mirror like finish.  Would be excellent for a highly restored car with very shiny paint and chrome.
Clip rings are clean with no rust and have been detailed.    All clips are in excellent condition with black paint as factory.  Backs sides of the rings have been cleaned and detailed as factory.
NOTE: These rings are correct for 1968-75 Corvettes.  Can also be used on late 75-82 Corvettes, but would not be correct for judging conditions.
These are GM factory production rings (16 5/8" diameter; 3 1/4"  vertical depth). They fit factory rally wheels as follows.  Be sure to double check your application!!
1968 Corvette 15x8" Rally Wheel (AG Code)
1969-1975 Corvette 15x8" Rally Wheel (AZ Code)
NOTE: We have been restoring GM trim rings (for over 20 years) for judging purposes at NCRS, Bloomington and other top level shows (have done over 400 sets in the just the past 8 years).  We can restore your rings too.  See my article in the NCRS Corvette Restorer about trim rings and their applications (Summer, 2007), and my "word" ad in the bi-monthly Corvette Drive Line.
These rings can be exchanged or returned for full refund if they do not meet your requirements.
