Six Piece Disney Art Drawings 50s or 60s Dumbo Mickey Donald Duck Disneyland
You are bidding on a lot of six pages of various Disney drawings most likely from 50s or 60s. Some of the pages are folded and most are done in pencil. These drawings came together in a lot that was found in an antique store. One picture shows a boy with a smile holding what appears to be papers. This drawing is about three inches tall and comes folded. There is another smaller drawing of what appears to be the same boy facing a mirror and holding some type of circular object. Another drawing shows Dumbo in a two by one and a half inch box. This drawing is in pink and gray pencil and is on a folded piece of fifteen and a half by twelve and a half inch paper.
The last three pages of drawings contain more than one picture on each page and are not on folded paper. One of these pages contains a record with the cover of a Disneyland record. There are also two pictures of a cardboard record box. One of these boxes has the title “A Child Introduction Great Composers”. The next pages contains small rectangles of four different characters one of which is Dumbo. There is also a pen pocket with a Disneyland logo on it. This is possibly a Disneyland uniform design. There is also a partial picture of what reads “Do It Yourself Brushes”. The last page is on a different type of paper as it is glossy and appears to be done in pen. There is a taped Mickey Mouse picture in the upper left of this pages. There are two drawings of a boy as well as a Donald Duck picture. The bottom contains two one inch drawings of Donald Duck and Humphrey the Bear.
This set of drawings is an amazing find and certainly a unique piece of Disney history. I have done my best to describe these drawings, but please see all photos for specifics and don’t hesitate to ask any questions you have about these drawings
