These Indicators let you know if your package has been tipped in transit.
The
Tip N Tell
will show evidence of tipping at a few degrees of tilt. The Takeoff angle on planes (airfreight) is enough to show some signs of tilt in some cases.
These are usually placed on the package using the simple method of peeling off the protective paper from the adhesive backing on the Tip N Tell before sticking it onto your shipment.
The Red version is thought of as more durable and "Heavy Duty."
The Red version is a heavier plastic and it has the added feature of a metal activation pin.
The White version is thought of as "Lighter Duty." The White version is a lighter plastic and it has a plastic activation pin. The plastic pin is somewhat fragile and can easily be broken off accidently rendering the White Tip N Tell unusable.
These can be nailed or screwed to crates if required.
When the blue beads are evident in the arrow section of the Tip N Tell, you know that your shipment has been tipped and has possibly sustained damage.
After you have attached the indicator to the side of your package, You simply pull the pin to activate the Tip N Tell.
There are additional Printed adhesive Warning labels included.
The larger label attaches to the package alerting shippers, carriers and receivers that there has been a Tip N Tell attached to the shipment that will indicate if the package has been tilted in transit.
There is a smaller label supplied on the same sheet that is intended to be attached to the Bill of Lading.
