    VINTAGE MATSON SHIPPING LINE INTERNATIONAL SILVER PLATED CHARGER. THIS WONDERFUL ITEM IS FROM THE ESTATE OF A LONG TIME MATSON LINE BURSAR WHO TRAVELED FROM SAN FRANCISCO TO THE ORIENT AND BACK MANY TIMES. SIZE IS ABOUT 12 1/4" 8 1/2". THE MARKING ON THE BACK SAYS "INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO., SILVER SOLDERED. M.N. 59, 12 IN " FOLLOWED BY THE MAKERS MARK. THESE ARE IN VINTAGE ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH THE EXPECTED SCRATCHES, MINOR DINGS AND DENTS -AND IN NEED OF POLISH - APPROPRIATE TO IT'S AGE AND USE. THIS IS A VERY HIGH QUALITY AND HEAVY ITEM. THIS MAY BE AS OLD AS PRE-WW11 AND USED PERHAPS INTO AS LATE AS THE '60'S.
