Description
This is a 1907 ( mark 1 ) pattern, British sword bayonet, with leather scabbard. It was manufactured by Sanderson, in October of 1916, used in World War I and World War II. Designed to fit the short magazine Lee Enfield or SMLE rifles. Blade is 17" long, overall length is about 22" . The scabbard is leather fitted with metal and pieces and canvas strap. The blade is patined, very mild pitting. Overall these are in very nice shape for what they are. Scabbard has some mild dent and general wear, metal tarmish and pitting. Scabbard has British proof under canvus.
