    Description

WWI British pattern 1908 calvary sword, royal horse artillery
an interesting old cavalry sword that has more in common with an estoc than a typical sword
markings on the guard  appears to be for the Australian royal horse artillery, at least from what research i was able to find
i believe this sword  was also made in Dec of1915 by the Sanderson Brothers & Neubold Ltd company
overall it is in pretty good shape however at some point in its life, the blade was left to rust and thus leaving some nasty corrosion areas on top of that, the blade also has a slight bend which is either from wartime use or post war abuse
the guard still has most of the protective lacquer coating, the grip is intact although shows signs of its age and everything else feels tight
